Royal Delivers on First International Contract

June 26, 2014

Royal Engineered Composites has moved into the international aviation market with deliveries on a new contract by Fokker Aerostructures. Royal is manufacturing the fin top fairing for the vertical tail section on a new business jet platform.

Fokker is responsible for the innovative design and manufacturing of the complete tail section. The empennage will feature advanced lightweight solutions and will be produced in the Dutch Fokker facilities in Papendrecht and Hoogeveen. Royal is manufacturing the fin top fairing in their facility in Minden, Nebraska. The first parts were shipped to Fokker in March, and production is expected to ramp up in the near future.
